Military dances have been a part of Armenian soldier’s education for ages. “Dance was a basic phenomenon that treated nations. Neither it originated yesterday, nor will it die tomorrow. Regarding this I am addressing to the Defense Minister. Victory is achieved by a conquerable soul, rather than by arms. One should not fight counting numbers and if he does so, he reluctantly prepares for defeat.” Some of Armenian military dances are Yarkhoushta, Sharani, Kochari of Catak and Sgherd.
